Tengeneza Generation

TENGENEZA GENERATION (TEG) is a youth-centred organisation in Morogoro, Tanzania. Tengeneza means building. Their purpose is to improve the lives of young people living adjacent to nature reserves through skills development, education and capacity building, and environmental restoration programs.

• Tengeneza Generation was featured in the Mountain Partnership article Protecting environments and empowering communities in Uluguru mountains.
• Tengeneza Generation director Pius Matunge was one of 10 African curators invited to participate in the Venice Art Biennale 2024.
