Segal Family Foundation invests in high-impact, early-stage social enterprises in Sub-Saharan Africa. Through flexible debt and comprehensive support, we support these enterprises to scale their operations effectively and solve deeply entrenched development challenges.

Social Enterprise Profile

We target early-stage to mid-sized social enterprises with products and/or services already established in the market. These enterprises should have progressed beyond the revenue generation phase and be actively seeking capital to accelerate their growth. We require that these social enterprises be led by visionary entrepreneurs and management teams possessing a clear understanding of how to maximize their impact while simultaneously building financially sustainable businesses. Additionally, they must demonstrate a well-defined and measurable impact proposition through key performance indicators.
