
Norah Magero
Norah Magero co-founded DropAccess, where she leads the development of transformative technologies like VacciBox – a portable solar-powered refrigerator that bridges critical cold chain gaps for medication in remote communities across Africa. Norah’s impact transcends technology, driving equity and empowerment by financing solar water pumps and refrigeration for farmers and distributing clean cookstoves. She serves on the UN’s Council of Engineers for the Energy Transition and has earned accolades like the Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation, as well as recognition among Kenya’s Top 40 Under 40 women by Business Daily Africa. A 2024 TED Fellow, Norah holds a rich portfolio of global leadership experiences and recognition. When not working, Norah is cooking, with family, or taking care of chickens.
