Project Description
Solomon is the founder and executive director of Fundi Bots, a Ugandan non-profit that provides hands-on, practical STEM education to children and youth in classrooms, communities, and universities. Prior to Fundi Bots, Solomon was founder and CEO of Node Six, a Ugandan web solutions firm that is currently in its eighth year of operations and supports more than 500 clients. Solomon’s interests lie at the intersection of design and technology with a bias towards human-machine interaction. This, coupled with a strong commitment to equal opportunity technology education has led to initiatives like Fundi Bots. Solomons work has been covered by Wired Magazine (UK), BBC, and Voice of America.
