MicroMek is a start-up building low-cost, fixed-wing, autonomous drones from 3D-printed parts for the delivery of medicine, test kits, and medical diagnostics for patients in remote areas of Malawi.

Why We Love Them: In addition to being Malawi’s first local drone company, MicroMek is also using open-source technology to teach STEM education to local youth to enhance the spirit of prototyping in Malawi.
