Kajo Keji Health Training Institute’s mission is to improve health care by training doctors to treat patients in South Sudan, a country with nine million people, less than 150 doctors, and the highest maternal mortality in the world.
Why We Love Them: They’re filling a critical gap in a country that has one of the worst health outcomes in the world.
