Project Description
Educate! works to transform the education system in Africa to teach youth to solve poverty for themselves and their communities, by providing youth with skills training in leadership, entrepreneurship, and workforce readiness, along with mentorship to start real businesses at school.
Why We Love Them: Methodical iteration of their model has led them to achieve tremendous scale in both Uganda and Rwanda via different routes. The curriculum is exactly what is most valuable (and most lacking) in traditional formal education in East Africa.
