Clean Start Solutions is a social enterprise that works with women and their children impacted by the criminal justice system to restore their dignity and hope for successful reintegration.

Why We Love Them: Clean Start Solutions is changing the mindset of Kenya’s society about incarceration and shedding light on how poverty is intertwined with the justice system in Kenya. They are giving a second chance to current and formerly incarcerated women to heal from their trauma and have a chance at having a decent livelihood without their prison record determining their destiny.
