The Bold Woman Fund is an initiative by Bold in Africa created to drive the organization’s mission to empower young entrepreneurs in the African fashion and home decor industry by scaling and retailing quality local production.

Why We Love Them: Low-skilled people who are looking to upgrade are routinely pushed to do hair, tailoring, fashion, and other such practical skilling. The question is then what separates a fashion designer from a tailor. Ultimately, that is in the quality of work and how much people are willing to pay for it.
