Their model recognizes that well-being is inseparable from the environment. True wellness for female leaders cannot be achieved solely through individual self-care, skills training, or personal empowerment. It requires addressing and dismantling the systemic barriers, cultural norms, and institutional biases that have historically limited women’s agency, authority, and access to resources.
