As a Program Officer based in Kampala, Twasiima drives SFF’s strategy and oversees grantmaking in Uganda.
Twasiima is a feminist lawyer and writer who has worked tirelessly to shift the public perception of minoritized people in Uganda for several years. With an LL.B. from Makerere University and an LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center, Twasiima has several years’ experience focused on advocacy and policy influencing, as well as program and fundraising development with national and international non-profit organizations. She continues to write on gendered inequalities, contemporary feminism, and development and aid, both to inform and teach. She is passionate about building and organizing sustainable development models that center the needs of communities across Africa.
