Temwa Msiska

Temwa is our Grants & Compliance Manager based in Blantyre, Malawi. She handles a full spectrum of back-end functions related to grantmaking and compliance.

Temwa joined Segal as a program officer with experience managing diverse, multidisciplinary teams across borders in health research, tourism, and the arts. She has worked in organizational development in African tertiary education institutions, managed WASH behavior change interventions, and overseen product development projects in Malawi. She pivoted from health research to tourism, consulting for development implementation partners and establishing her own tour operator business.

She holds a law degree from the University of Wolverhampton and an MBA from BPP University College. She loves to engage with people as they reflect on and articulate their aspirations, facilitating their journeys by connecting them with champions and resources.
