Nsamwa Mwandila

Nsamwa is a Program Officer based in Lusaka, Zambia. She supports Segal’s Southern Africa partners through Active Partnership and conducts due diligence on potential and current partners.

Nsamwa joins the foundation with experience as a business development professional with a strong focus on advancing access to finance and creating sustainable economic opportunities for impactful MSMEs. With a career spanning impactful roles, she has worked with international development organizations, contributing to initiatives that drive social change and empower marginalized communities.

Nsamwa’s work has taken her across the region, including Kenya, Malawi, Zimbabwe, and South Africa where she collaborated on programs that bridged gaps in financial inclusion and fostered capacity building among others. Nsamwa actively supports initiatives that promote entrepreneurship and access to funding, leveraging her expertise and network to uplift others. Her approach is grounded in collaboration, sustainability, and tangible results.

Nsamwa holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from The Copperbelt University and an MSc in business development and entrepreneurship from Utrecht University, Netherlands.
