Juliana Busasi
Juliana Busasi is a medical doctor and the founder and executive director of Tanzania Health & Medical Education Foundation, a health tech nonprofit that provides stigma-free mental health support to Tanzanian youth. Through innovative digital services and community outreach, TAHMEF is dedicated to improving the well-being of youth and breaking down mental healthcare access barriers. Juliana’s passion stems from her own experience with anxiety and depression, as well as the devastating loss of a close friend to suicide. With her background in medicine, medical education, and global health, she has committed her life to creating solutions that empower youth to lead healthier, more fulfilled lives. Outside of work, Juliana enjoys hiking, yoga, and spending quality time alone to recharge.
