Jerry Mang’ena
With a background in marine sciences and conservation business, Jerry Mang’ena has dedicated his career to integrating environmental stewardship with community-driven economic empowerment. He co-founded Aqua-Farms Organization, a nonprofit working at the intersection of marine conservation, aquaculture, and community livelihoods. He champions innovative approaches to ocean conservation, working to ensure coastal communities thrive while preserving marine biodiversity for future generations. Jerry’s vision is to see Africa lead in sustainable ocean management. Currently pursuing an EMBA in conservation business at the African Leadership University in Rwanda, he enjoys traveling, networking, and exploring nature in his free time.
