Florence Namaganda
Florence is a social entrepreneur, philanthropist, and neurodevelopmental therapist. She is co-founder and director of the Mukisa Foundation and Dawn Special Children’s Centre. Both organizations work to restore hope and dignity to children with disabilities and their families through the provision of health, education, family empowerment, advocacy, and awareness programs in nine districts. They have nationwide reach through the Special Children’s Forum, a platform that brings together organizations and individuals that are working in the disability space for a more coordinated effort or response.
Florence is a trainer and mentor to young professionals. She serves on the boards of the Children at Risk Action Network (CRANE) and the Berakhah Medical Centre, as well as the committee for Gender and Social Development in the Buganda Kingdom.
