
Claire Uwineza
Claire is a dreamer and a strategist and takes a particular interest in tackling challenges creatively and developing others to realize their full potential. As Resonate’s interim executive director, Claire has placed a particular emphasis on growth through partnerships and financial sustainability. Over the years, Claire has built Resonate internal processes and policies, financial management system, and M&E systems from scratch. She has led randomized control trial research projects in collaboration with university researchers to build a robust evidence base for the Resonate work. She has also played a crucial role in developing the organization’s strategy for scale through developing relationships with Rwandan government partners.
Claire has an MBA from Oklahoma Christian University and a certificate in social enterprise management and impact investing from Monterey Institute of International Studies. She serves as a steering committee member for the Rwanda Women Leaders Network, hosted by the Ministry of Gender and Family Promotion. Prior to joining Resonate, she served as the manager of an Aegis Trust social enterprise in Rwanda. She aspires to live in a world where women and girls believe in their dreams, raise their voices without fear, and run successful businesses.
