Charlotte Iraguha

Charlotte has over a decade of experience in program design, development, and implementation. She is the managing director and co-founder of Teach For Uganda and is responsible for the overall success and growth of the organisation.

Upon completing a bachelor’s degree in education, she started her career as a classroom teacher, teaching history and economics to high school students. After a few years in the classroom, she decided to find a new challenge in the non-profit space and joined Educate! as a coach supporting youth in skills development. She spent the next six years working in high-level roles, including curriculum design and training, stakeholder engagement and management, program innovation, and youth business development, before leaving to co-found Teach For Uganda.

Charlotte is an African Visionary Fellow and a children’s director at her local church. She is a passionate educator and believes all children have the potential to thrive given the right support, education, and opportunity.
