Charles Odhiambo
Charles influences organizations and people from all walks of life—especially those who have limited opportunities to make informed decisions and take responsibility for their own actions. This interest in young people from vulnerable communities and their progress as his key motivation has led to having over 2,500 orphaned youngsters accessing jobs and thus achieving their self–reliance.
His professional interests focus on sustainable solutions, targeting vulnerable youths in the community. Charles holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management from Maseno University. He is the executive director of Ujima Foundation with over 10 years of experience in the non-profit management sector. Prior to this position, Charles was the head of income-generating activities tasked with developing sustainable business models for Ujima Foundation.
In addition, Charles is a member of the Lake Victoria Tourism Association and he sits on the board of Prosperous Kenya, Kenya-Etten Leur Project, and Afri- Can Trust.
