Allen Kumwenda
Allen Kumwenda is the founder and executive director of SPRODETA, a Malawian organization that brings together smallholder farmers and provides the tools and resources they need to farm sustainably. The organization’s agribusiness arm also improves food systems among smallholder farmers in rural communities through enhanced production, access to reliable markets, and value addition of farm produce. He holds a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from the University of Malawi and is an Arsenal fan who also plays chess and listens to old country gospel music.
